Daily Homework activities:

• Writing your name on primary lines

• Sight words

• Counting and writing numbers

• Drawing pictures with details

• Reading to your child each night

• Any additional worksheets the teacher sends home.

 

Sight words rings and activity lists will be sent home.  Please practice these words each night.

 

While your child is practicing writing their name, please be sure to watch their pencil grip and letter formation.  Letters never begin at the bottom.

 

As we continue working on numbers 1-5 and making sets, practicing counting objects while pointing to each one is helpful.
