Exposure to books is very important to your child's success in reading.  In Kindergarten, we will not only read stories but learn parts of a book, characters, setting, main idea, text structure and many other skills.  You can help with these skills by reading at home too.  Each month Scholastic book club flyers will be sent home.  You will find many great deals on books and other items.  Each flyer will have a featured book for only $1.  That's right, $1.  You can order as little as $1, or more.  It's up to you.  You can fill out the order form on the back, send in the exact amount in a check or money order made out to Scholastic Book Club or, you can order on line.  For each order made on line, your child's class will earn a FREE book for the classroom.  It's easy and quick.  NO CASH!!

All orders will be sent to the school and then given to your child to bring home.  Please let us know if the books ordered are a gift for your child so that we can make other arrangements on getting them to you without your child seeing them.
